Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Patriot! He is a 2-year-old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. Patriot was rescued from the county shelter, where he was at risk of being euthanized. This dapper little fella won us over with his incredibly good looks and friendly personality. In fact, he is so great we just had to name him for the biggest winners we could think of. This little guy has a lot more going for him than just a pretty face though; he is also good natured and lovable. Patriot would make an amazing companion for just about any home. He is conveniently sized for apartment life but would also adapt well to a big house with a yard. Want a buddy to watch the games with on Sundays? Patriot is your guy...even if you’re a Seahawks fan.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
