My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Okay, so, every family has a maniac, right? Well, Venus is ours. She is a wild child; we swear she must run on whatever they fuel the space shuttle with. Just saying'....you need to know this up front. : )
She is under a year, her ultimate favorite thing ever in life is to chase the jackrabbits, which can get her into other trouble, like cactus she doesn't see until she runs into. It isn't that she isn't smart, she is just so single-minded in the moment, she literally doesn't seem to even notice the needles until they are being pulled out of her. She would be an incredible athletic partner once trained. She does need training. He owner was enlisted and overseas, and the wife had her as a puppy and apparently did not spend any time training her. She is now about nine-10 months old and needs a person who feels they can train her without punishment or trying to break her spirit. We will be especially conscious of finding the right family for her in this area. She cannot be left to her own devices, she is active and needs lots of exercise or lots of room to run. And another dog would be GREAT. So if you have gotten this far and aren't shaking your head, then come and meet Venus...
Her adoption fee is 125.00; she is scheduled to be spayed Feb. 24. She has to recover for a week then can go to a new home. She will be microchipped and vaccinated.
