My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beaufort was found on the highway - emaciated and starving - when a kind person picked him up and brought him to us. He weighed 58 lbs, his bones were sticking out, and he couldn't get enough food.

After he had recovered sufficiently, we had him neutered and brought up to date on his shots. He now weighs about 75 lbs. He is about 4 years old and a very gentle soul - he just loves to be loved!

He sleeps inside at night and is crate-trained and will walk on a leash - he will need a llittle work on basic obedience and housetraining but is a fast and willing learner - he just wants to please and loves nothing better than sitting in your lap. He gets along well with other dogs - we don't know about cats.
