This very handsome, young man with the happy smile is Otis! He's about 5 months old, neutered, current on his shots, microchipped and house trained. He gets along great with dogs & kids and has no interest in the cats in his Foster Home. When he was rescued, he was very timid but a lot of love and TLC at his Foster Home helped him thrive and now he's a very happy, outgoing boy!
Otis is a little love bug who is happiest & most content when he's with his people! When he's not sitting in his Foster Parents laps, he's sitting at their feet. He's such a sweet guy who loves cuddling and he's so soft he's a joy to cuddle! He likes giving kisses, especially to his Foster Family's kids, and he gives the sweetest kisses! This affectionate guy really enjoys attention from his people, especially ear scratches! He has a way of touching his Foster Mom's heart when he comes over to where she's sitting and just lays his beautiful little head on her arm and falls asleep or if she's holding their baby, he lays his head on the baby and snuggles with him. He just wants to be loved and give love - it's so sweet & touching!
Playful & energetic, Otis loves playing! His favorite toy is a stuffed moose he loves to chew on and carry around with him. He loves being outside and running around the yard, rolling around in the grass, exploring every smell out there, especially if his Foster Family's dog is with him. He has a blast playing with her and he gets so excited when he knows they're going outside together! This frisky pup also enjoys playing with the kids in the house and is a very good boy with them!
Otis is a very smart guy who learns quickly and listens well! He knows the commands Sit & Lay Down and will be working on more! He's not used to cars and needs help getting in & out of them but he's a good boy who lays down once inside, after trying to sit in the driver's lap first! He's in his chewing phase but chew toys will help with that. His Foster Mom makes him homemade doggie biscuits and peanut butter balls, which he loves, so using treats for his training might be beneficial for all involved! He also enjoys getting baths, he stands there like a good boy while being scrubbed down! He recently attended an Adoption Event and behaved very nicely! He'd go over to people to meet them and a few times he was pushed out of the way by two younger puppies, but he didn't get upset, he kept trying then went and laid down.
Otis will be a wonderful addition to any Family and will bring so much happiness to their lives! If you'd like to give this very handsome, young man with the happy smile a Forever Home, please email us at thepastrescue@gmail.com or visit our website to fill out an
