Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Introducing Rusty! Rusty is currently living in Houston, Texas, but is available for transport to Portland or Seattle. This adorable guy was found when he was just 6 months old, wandering the Corridor all alone. He was very malnourished, and seemed to have a hip issue or injury. The vet found that his hips were not exactly formed properly, although when you meet him and play with him, you wouldn’t recognize that there is an issue. Recently he was given a clean bill of health by the vet and will not have to have surgery as they first thought. Since that fateful rescue day, Rusty has gained some much needed puppy weight and has turned into a very happy-go-lucky dog. He is estimated to be about 1 year old, 50 pounds and is an energetic, playful pup. He enjoys spending his days goofing off and playing with his friends and his toys. He LOVES his toys!! He also LOVES everyone he meets and he is a little entertainer. Rusty is currently crate-trained, housebroken and knows a few basic commands. He walks well on his leash and currently his foster family is working on running on a leash. This boy loves to run and play. He loves children, dogs, and CATS. He responds very well to redirection and he is a fast learner. He is a fun-loving, eager and adventurous kind of dog, despite his little hip issue! Though he has an occasional hitch in his step, he is FAST and he enjoys running outside with his canine pals. Rusty also loves to cuddle and snuggle. Rusty would make a great addition to your family, he is an all-around awesome dog. If you are interested in adopting him, please go to www.corridorrescue.org and click on More Information and submit the adoption application. His adoption fee is $200, which includes neuter, microchip, updated vaccinations and a clean bill of health. Transportation via United Airlines Petsafe to Portland or Seattle is available for an additional $225 for a total of $425 including airline crate, health certificate, and airline fees. If you have any questions about Rusty please email corridorrescue@gmail.com Please share. Thank you!
