UPDATED BIO 04/22/2015: MAGGIE SUE is 5 years old and weighs 6 lbs. She is being fostered in The Villages, FL.
Maggie Sue came into UYR with her father Louie Lou who has since been adopted into a wonderful forever home. After being in the same foster home for over 3 months, it was evident that they both would be happier if they were separated into different foster homes. Since that time, Maggie is definitely more out-going and engaged.
Maggie was an Owner Surrender and her health had been neglected for a long time; although she lost the remaining 7 teeth she had, she certainly doesn’t have any trouble eating dry kibble; and now her little tongue peeps out ~ so cute! She has a tendency to be on the shy side and initially would cower to the floor when approached to be picked up. She no longer does that and is definitely coming out of her shell inasfar as her timid nature. She also seems much happier and less stressed. The gorgeous long and thick coat she came in with has been trimmed into a puppy cut and she is just beautiful. She has the typical blue/gold colors associated with well-bred yorkies.
Maggie is house-trained to use the wee-wee pad, which she prefers; however, she will also go outside when left out long enough. She is not yet completely leash-trained, but we are working on that. Maggie loves attention and seems to seek it out more and more; she also loves to follow her FM from room-to-room, and will jump up and down to be picked up. She prefers to lie beside you instead of being held, but that could change with time. She is a very sweet, loving little girl who only wants to be someone’s Pretty Little Princess – could that be you?
PLEASE NOTE: Due to her small size, Maggie cannot go into a home with children under the age of 14 years old.

However, after being in the same foster home for over 3 months, it is evident that they are happier since they were separated into different foster homes.
