Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
01/09/15: Trudy Is An Energetic Bundle Of Joy
Trudy is a sweet, petite girl who loves to give kisses. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is crate trained but really doesn't need one. Her foster mom has left her alone for a while and she was good. She still needs work with keeping paws and nose off the counters andtable, but she is getting better every day. We think the girl just loves to eat.
Trudy also needs some leash training but she is a quick learner (this is where food is a great motivator ;-) She thinks the leash is a "toy". She grabs it and shakes it or tries to play tug of war with you, but she is improving. Her foster mom has been working on teaching her, "Don't jump", but she would probably be too overwhelming for small children in any case.
Cuddling on the couch with her human companions or anywhere else she can is one of Trudy’s favorite activities. She is very smart. So any "faulty behaviors" that us humans don't enjoy, won't take long to disappear with a little work and positive reinforcement. If you raise your voice Trudy will cower, so she has no doubt experienced some harsh treatment in her short life. A calm soft voice is always the direction to take with a dog, especially with a rescue. She also will cower if she sees a belt- her foster mom found this out when while changing clothes. Trudy also loves to ride in the car. However, if she is in the front seat she does think she should be able to help drive or lie in your lap.
Trudy is a typical young boxer girl that thrives on attention and is silly and playful. She will need a fenced yard (not invisible) to run off that energy and give her that outlet for lots of exercise. Trudy is the kind of boxer girl that could put a smile on your face on your worst day. She is that special.
