Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Chloe is a sweet and gentle gray tabby mix full of energy and playfulness. This is a very active adolescent. Her nickname is Squeaker because she doesn’t really have a meow, it’s more like a squeak! She’s about 8 months old.
Chloe loves to chase her toys, leap into the air and explore everywhere. Very curious, she needs supervision or you will find items that were on your dresser tops and shelves on the floor. Certainly at this age it would be necessary to “kitten-proof” your living space. Any breakables should be put away until Chloe is older and understands that everything is not a plaything. She is learning the word “no” and responds well to it. But for now, she’s a busy kitten, when she’s not napping that is. All that running around requires frequent naps to recharge her energy level.
Chloe is very affectionate and after the initial shyness she will like to be held, petted and cuddled. She will sit in your lap, but not for long, after all, there’s only so much playtime in a day! Right now she has her own bed which serves as a “safe” place and for sleeping most of the night. Though she will come on the bed for a cuddle and a nuzzle during the night. However, in the daytime the people bed is the preferred napping spot.
Chloe is a very good kitty and would be fine with other friendly cats and older, cat-savvy children. In fact, she would probably like another kitty companion to play with. With the right introduction she would probably be fine with a gentle dog. But an adult only home would suit her too, as long as there was playtime to work off all that kitten energy and lots of love and affection in between.
Chloe does need time so she can bond with a new person. She will need committed interaction to become comfortable and adjust to a new home. But once she trusts you she will want to be with you and will follow you around. She will want to play chase the laser or catch the squeaking, fuzzy mouse.
If you have a generous heart and the time, and inclination, Chloe has the energy to fill your home with love and laughter.
