Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey was named for her color, but also because she’s so sweet! She is estimated to be 10-12 months old and somehow landed in the local shelter despite her adorable terrier looks. She’s about 14 pounds currently, but needs to put on a bit of weight and ideally get to 20 pounds.
She is a little reserved at first, but is very affectionate once she warms up. She is a great little walker while she’s on her leash, so it seems she’s familiar with that and enjoys it. She has been very low key so far and just an easy going, nice house guest.
Honey is housebroken and kennel trained, although she doesn’t appreciate having to spend any time in her little house. She’d rather be spending time with her people. Honey’s ideal home would be with a single person or a couple without children. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body and she does get along well with other dogs, but she’s a terrier and wants all of the attention to herself and would be happier that way. She currently lives with cats and just ignores them completely. She wants a stable life with affection, treats and never to return to the shelter.
Honey is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and ready to find her new family. If you would like to adopt Honey or have any questions about her, please email adoptions@reggiesfriends.org. She is currently living in Houston, Texas and available for out of state adoption. Her adoption fee is $450 to cover the cost of her airline flight, travel kennel, comfy bed and her required health certification.
