Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Traci. I have a rather sordid past and it is not pretty. I was kept outside all of my life and on a chain. I have given birth to many, many litters without the benefit of medical care.
My babies were simply sold and I was left to grieve on my own. No matter how bad the weather I was on a chain outside. On occasion I would get loose and try to find a safe place but my captors kept getting me back.
Animal control was at my house many times but never lent a helping hand. Since I had a raggedy house and some water they said by law I was OK. Well I was not. Many tried to get me away from the situation but my captors would not let me go.
Last year I was shot in my face which resulted in me losing an eye. The bullet went through my eye and came back out of my head. No internal damage per X-rays and no other damage other than I have a scar and only one eye. But with that one eye I can spot a kind and loving person. That is what I am looking for,
I deserve to be treated like the Queen that I am. I also deserve to be in a home that will cherish and treat me with the respect and dignity I deserve.
I am leash trained, house trained and paper trained. I am also crate trained and I bark very little. My favorite past time is to lay on the couch and sleep. I like the quiet, I am not a fan of a lot of hustle and noise. I had enough of that in my life.
My perfect home would consist of a retired person or couple. One that will spoil me rotten and cherish me while taking me on vacations and on outings to the park. I deserve a great calm home that will make me the #1 Priority in their lives.
I get along with all dogs but keep to myself. Once in a while I want to play and rough house but that is not the norm. I am too relaxed for that and simply just wish to be pampered.
