Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**update from Sassy's Temporary Foster Mom* (1/18/15) "Sassy is still very timid but does not shake in fear. She does not hide either but still does not come right up to me. She follows me all around the house but keeps her distance. She obviously was a house dog and likes to be in the same room as me, Sassy gets along with my dogs and has not shown one ounce of aggression. She seems to be afraid of my grandchildren so my guess is she wasn't around children. She does well on a leash and likes going for walks. I let her out back in my fenced in patio area but she won't come in on her own. I have to go out and pick her up to bring her in. She has been sleeping in a crate at night but she probably would prefer to be in our bedroom at night. She just likes the company even though she is distant to us. She has made lots of progress since she doesn't Shake and hide. Sassy is a very sweet dog and will be a loyal loving companion for someone." (1/10/15) Sassy is at least 8 years old and weighs 35-40 lbs. Sassy was an owner surrender when her owner went to a nursing home. She is fully vetted and heart worm negative. Sassy hides in anything…even cat carriers. The shelter reports that Sassy has done well sharing a kennel with other dogs. She was also cat tested and did well. Sassy likes to walk on a leash. She is scared of almost everything. Sassy has lost faith in humans and probably giving up on life. Hopefully someone can show her what it is like to have a happy life in her golden years.
