Comments: Bixby is new to our program, so we are still learning about him, but this little looker can’t wait to be somebody’s baby! He was dumped at the shelter with his coat full of mats and burrs, and was a pretty sad little sight. He hasn’t been thrilled about youngsters at adoption showings, so we’re asking for an all-adult home at this point. He likes to be held by his foster mom and is adjusting to his foster dad, though still likes to tell him what’s what from time to time. Hey- he’s mostly Dachshund, and Dachshunds like to talk! Bixby gets intimidated by things like hats and sunglasses and can take a minute to warm up to new people, but he quickly made friends with one of the other volunteers at his first adoption showing and was happily coming out of his crate to her to be held. We really think that once Bixby’s in his own home, surrounded by love, he’s going to be a fabulous snuggle-baby. We’ll make sure and update his bio as we learn more about this beautiful boy.
