My story

Meet Colby Jack. Colby Jack is a 2 year old, Pom/Cairn terrier mix. Colby has not had the greatest start at life. Colby Jack has some trust issues and will need a person or couple who understands that he is going to take some time to recover from the trauma of his past and the trauma of having to live in a shelter. Colby Jack is more trusting of females but in time we believe he could come around to a kind and gentle man as well. Colby Jack is full of spunk, he has tons of playful energy and will need daily walks or just a home with plenty of space for him to run and play and be spunky. He has made major improvements in his house training efforts. Ultimately Colby would do best going to a person or couple who has small dog experience. Colby would do fine in a home with another spunky dog to play with. Colby should not go to a home with young kids and prefers someone to be home with him more often then not. Colby Jack will make the perfect little lap dog for someone who is willing to be patient with him.
