My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Andy is a 4.5 year old lab mix who is loves all sizes of dogs and is also good with cats. He is a mellow guy with an energy level that is lower than what you would expect for a lab mix. He is very smart and obedient and he is motivated by praise and human approval. He has his basic commands down perfectly, is almost constantly makes eye contact with whoever holds his leash to await commands. He also has great house manners and isn't a chewer. Even better, he is 100% potty trained!

Andy's only issue is that he is protective of his family and he sometimes doesn't like strangers who come in the house (particularly strange men), so he would need a family willing to work with him on that. He has received professional training, and his ideal forever family would continue with the training and structure that he likes.

Andy is a smart, mellow guy who needs a home that can provide both structure and belly rubs. He is currently boarded about an hour north of DC, to set up a time to meet him please email info@lizzyslodgerescue.org
