Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Lacey. I want you to know that I may be the most loveable Weim ever (at least that's what I'm told). I'm about nine years old. I have a few lumps, but I'm a healthy girl overall.
There are cats at my foster home and I like to chase them. This does not make the cats happy. My foster mom contains me to a room why she is at work because of the c-a-t situation. However, in a cat-free home I am well-behaved enough to be loose in the house when nobody is home.
I spend the mornings and afternoons in my Mom's room while she is at work. She comes home to walk me at lunch, I love that. Those evil c-a-t-s terrorize me on the other side of the door, so my Mom put a DAP diffuser in her room to help calm me. I also get a Kong with yummy stuff in it when she leaves and I'm one happy camper until she gets home again. I see her getting ready for work and I jump onto the bed and wait for my Kong. After she leaves, I say "na-na-na-na" to those cats who don't get goodies like I do. Shh, don't tell her.
My foster Mom says she's so happy that I don't hurt any of her stuff, I stay out of the trash and I don't counter surf. I'm not sure what that last one is, but I guess Weims are usually good at it.
One thing I am really good at is snuggling with you. Like to lay on the couch to watch TV? I'll stretch out on top of you! Prefer to sit and read, no problem, I'll keep your lap warm with my head. I love to cuddle and will rub my head against your neck to get as close to you as possible. Want to save money and turn off your electric blanket? I'll keep you warm all night, guaranteed!
I'm not crazy about loud noises. I can get skittish, but not to the point of wetting your floor. I'm more likely to cower. I'm trying out a DAP collar that hopefully will help me feel less anxious about things like loud noises and the aforementioned c-a-t-s.
I love big people, with them I am playful and happy. Little people, not-so-much. If you have regular small visitors, I am not the dog for you.
I walk like a dream on a leash!! I know how to stay, heel, come and leave it. I won't sit. I will stay put and let you walk away, but I won't sit. Sorry, I had to draw the line somewhere.
I'm looking forward to meeting you!
XOXOXO Lacey
