My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Lena and I am a young shephard mix that use to live with Eden the middle aged beagle but we both got out one day and the shelter got us and our owners never came for us! Even when our microchip has 3 phone numbers and they were left messages, no one ever called back. It broke both our hearts! But it really scared me when Eden left and I was alone at the shelter. But luckily Eden was sad and someone mentioned me so they came got me too!

I am full of energy and love but have been housetrained and am well mannered! I like all people and dogs and i am SURE I can learn to not think cats are strange... I am very smart so there is no reason I can't learn that! I don't chase them but boy I sure want to! And sometimes I forget and lunge toward them but know I am not suppose to. They just smell so .... weird you know?? I have never seen any before and I want to investigate them more but they are MEAN and challenge me constantly! sigh.. silly cats.

Eden was sick so am so glad she is in a foster home who is taking care of her. I miss her some but don't worry about her anymore as I know she is good to go! I am good to go too! I play all day here at the rescue with other dogs but I long for a home of my own. I am young and have a FULL life in front of me... come give me that life please?? I need you and I know you need me! Just think about it!
