Louis (as in Louis Armstrong) is a beautiful, sweet boy being fostered in North Louisiana. He's as tall as a dane, but is filling out like a big mastiff hunk! Louis will talk/sing to you when he's not getting what he thinks he deserves! He's very smart and can even open doors by himself. He's a really huge baby who loves to be with you all the time -- except when he's outside watching squirrels. While Louis' people are drinking their morning cups of Joe, Louis likes to sit outside and stare up into the trees and watch the squirrels. He'll do this for about an hour or so. Silly boy. Louis' ideal home is calm with calm people, as he gets anxious easily. When Louis first came into rescue he didn't even wag his tail for the first 6 weeks. We're not sure he knew how. Over time, Louis has grown quite fond of cats and he loves other dogs, male and female, he's like a playful little brother except he's actually bigger than all of his other rescue siblings, even the other mastiffs! Louis is not a dog you can parade around in public, he's more of a stay-at-home kindof guy. Serious inquiries only, large/giant breed experience required. No children. Home visit, vet references, background check required.
