Hi! My name is Scooter and I was found as a stray hiding under a car and trying to keep warm. I was so happy to be found and brought into the Legacy German Shepherd Rescue Family. I came up to Connecticut right before Thanksgiving. I am about 4 months old and weighing in at 20lbs. I am already house trained and crate trained. I spend my days in the crate while my foster family is at work and school. They have other dogs with me too. I am really good though. I play with my Kong and wait patiently for them to get home.
That is when the fun begins! I love to play. I love kids and dogs of all sizes. Here I play with big dogs and little dogs. I have a lot of energy and would love an active family. Since i am so young, I am all puppy! My foster family thinks its I am pretty smart though, I don't have accidents and listen pretty good. I love toys! The squeaky are so much fun. There is a big dog here and when he has his leash on, I take him for walks around the yard. Its pretty funny, he just follows wherever i lead.
At night time as soon as the lights go down, I know what time it is and i lay right down to sleep. A little puppy that plays hard needs rest that's for sure. My first few days I slept in the crate but, they cant resist my smile so I quietly snuck in the bed one night and sleep there now. What can I say, I'm cute!
I will probably grow up to be around 50lbs or so. I mainly have black fur but I have dark brown brindle patterns as well. I have been told I look like a Catahoula Hound\Pit mix.
I am a loyal loving little boy just looking for my Furever family. I know you are out there ?
