Meet Anton! Anton is an absolutely gorgeous 8 month old male GSD. He came into rescue with several other GSDs from a breeder who was no longer able to care for them.
Anton is a fantastic dog with a true GSD personality, and absolutely needs a home with extensive GSD experience. He is extremely intelligent, very motivated to please and learns VERY quickly. Unfortunately, he did not receive the training he should have as a young pup, and is currently taking a make-up course. He is very eager to please, and LOVES being with his people. He's a bit bouncy and all over the place, but a lot of that is just his age and breeding. He needs a home that will provide structure and guidance, and work with him to become the fabulous dog we have NO doubt he will be. He absolutely needs a formal obedience course to help in the bonding process and teach him what is expected of him.
Anton is good with other dogs, but is very active and his 'off' switch doesn't always work immediately, so a home with older, more settled dogs probably isn't a good idea. He would thrive with another younger dog who loves to play, and does not need to be an only dog. He is also ok with dog savvy cats. He will chase a cat that runs, but stops immediately when told to knock it off.
Due to his activity level, bounciness and herding instincts, a home without small children (under 10) is a must.
Anton is neutered, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped. He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.

Anton's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.
We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.
