Meet Karock! Karock is a stunningly gorgeous 18 month old male GSD. He came into rescue with several other GSD from a breeder who was no longer able to care for them.
Karock is a fantastic dog with a true GSD personality, and absolutely needs a home with extensive GSD experience. He is extremely intelligent, very motivated to please and learns VERY quickly. Unfortunately, he did not receive the training he should have as a young pup, and is currently taking a make-up course. He is very eager to please, and LOVES being with is people. He is a little shy with new people, especially men, but does warm up quickly with patience. He had never been exposed to men until he came into rescue, or a lot of other things, so everything is new to him. He needs a home that will provide structure and guidance, and work with him to become the fabulous dog we have NO doubt he will be.
Karock is ok with submissive, beta personality dogs, but stands his ground with a more dominant dog. He does not back down. He does love to play with the right dog, though. We feel he would do best in either an only dog home or a home with a more submissive female. No male dogs, and this is NOT a dog park dog. We also recommend a formal obedience class to help in the bonding process and help him understand what is expected of him.
Karock is currently being fostered in Kingston, NY.
Karock is neutered, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped. He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.

Karock's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.
We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.
