Hi! I'm Shiloh. I'm a 3 year old male Great Pyrenees, and I'd love to be your new best friend! I hail from the south, in a place called Mississippi. I was rescued off the streets where I was tired, sick and hungry. My former owners didn't take very good care of me, so I was very thin and had heart worm disease. But all that is behind me now! Some nice people took me in and told me I was something called 'rescued.' Not sure what that is, but I"m pretty sure I like it! They cleaned me up, fed me, loved me and took me to the vet, who helped get rid of my heart worms. Now I have a clean bill of health, and I'm ready for you to love me furever!
I get along well with all dogs, but am really a lady's man at heart. I love 'em, what can I say? I'd love to have a home with another dog...preferably a lady...to hang out with. I'm still a little on the lean side from my days on the streets and subsequent heart worm treatment, but I have a heck of an appetite, and am gaining weight steadily. I'll probably top out at 90-100 pounds, and while I like little kids just fine, I sometimes get excited and could easily knock one over. But I promise I would never hurt one on purpose!
Now let's talk about cats. I like them just fine...as long as they're in someone ELSE'S house. I'd really prefer not to live with them, though. It's just a personal choice. And if one comes in my house, I'll be forced to chase him, so it'd be best if I didn't live with one.
All in all I'm a great guy, and I promise to love and protect you for all my days. I'm super affectionate, and a fantastic snuggler. I hear that's a bonus on a cold New England night!
Shiloh is being fostered in the Kittery, ME area.
Shiloh is neutered, utd on routine vaccinations, flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention. He has also been microchipped. He must go to a home where he will live inside as an important member of the family.

Shiloh's adoption fee is $475 which includes all age appropriate vet care, neuter, microchip and associated costs.
We do not have a physical shelter, our dogs and puppies are in private foster homes. We do not adopt to anyone under 21.
