My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chiquita has low energy but with a happy go lucky, upbeat personality, & a bouncy, sassy walk. She gets along great with dogs of all sizes & cats. She is friendly with all people. She loves short walks & os great on car rides. She is easy going & affectionate.
What we know of her life: Chiquita was adopted from Downey Shelter as a 7 month old baby back in 2005. She ended up at Carson Shelter as a grey muzzled senior. She was still microchipped to her original adopters, but they said she had been stolen years ago & they didn't have room for her now. After we picked her up we found out she had been scheduled to be euthanized that day! We took her to the vet that night & found out that she has a heart murmur that went undetected by the shelter. She's one lucky lady!! She does not let the heart murmur hold her back. She is not on any medication & does just fine.
