Name: Little John
Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Gender: Neutered Male
Age: Approx. 8 yrs 1 mos in Jan. ’15
Weight: Approx. 4 lbs
Energy Level: Medium
Apartment Appropriate: Probably fine

Good w/ Cats: Unknown
Good w/ Kids: We think he may be fine with calm, respectful children aged 12 yrs and older
Comments: Little John is such an adorable little sweetie! You’ve probably noticed he’s a little light in the hair department, but he has a thyroid issue and is now on a very inexpensive medication to resolve it. Hopefully he’ll grow some more hair, but frankly, we think he’s pretty irresistible just the way he is. Little John came from a puppy mill situation where he was used as a stud. Unfortunately, due to a serious lack of dental care, our vet had to remove most of his teeth, but he eats his moistened food with gusto and does just fine. Despite all those years in the mill, Little John is amazingly friendly and loves attention and cuddles. He’ll wiggle right up to you and lick and gum all over your hands to show you how much he appreciates getting to get and give love. Little John does just fine with the other small dogs in his home and doesn’t cause any trouble. Like any adult mill dog who has grown up living in filth, he will need help learning housebreaking manners, but he’s a smart kiddo, and with patience and training, should pick it up like a pro. If Little John makes your heart as happy as he makes ours and you’d like to share your home with him, please fill out an application today!
