My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy and Mabel are an approximately 1 year old pair of female short-haired guinea pigs. They are a bonded pair and can NOT be separated. Daisy is the black & white one and Mabel is the gorgeous tri-colored golden agouti, red, and white girl.

Daisy and Mabel came to our rescue when their former family could no longer afford to keep them. Daisy is the easier to pick up of the pair, but won’t hesitate to let you know when she wants to be returned to her cage – she gives a small whimper when she wants to be put down. Daisy is not afraid to let you know when she wants her hay as she’ll chew on the bars of her cage until her humans come to give her some fresh, tasty hay. Mabel is harder to catch, but will sit with you on your lap with very little resistance. She’s the more laid back of the pair & just likes to take things easy. Both of these girls love snuggle sacks so we are recommending that their adoptive home be willing to get a couple for them. Neither likes cherry tomatoes, so no need to try to give them any, but they do love most other veggies.

The adoption fee for this pair is $40. All potential adopters are required to fill out our adoption form prior to adoption, no exceptions.
