My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tonka is about 1 year old and 12 pounds of SOLID muscle. He handles well, no problems looking in his mouth, feet, etc. Tonka is a very strong dog. He is housebroken and uses the doggie door. He can also scratch to get in and out if doggie door is not available. Tonka was recently neutered and is up to date on his shots. Tonka is learning to come when called and sit at my feet. He also sits nicely for treats. He is NOT leash trained of any sort, and has just been switched to a harness. He has a HIGH prey drive, when sitting in the window seat he saw birds and is off thru the doggie door in a shot trying to chase them so a home with cats would not be recommended. Tonka plays well with children and loves to play ball. He will run after it and bring it to you, sometimes he will let you have it, sometimes not. Very playful. Tonka plays nicely with the other female Jack that is also ball crazy, does not attempt to dominate in the ball playing, will let her have it easily. Generally I have them in the same place playing with plenty of balls so everyone has their own. Tonka is lacking a bit with regard to social skills, but loves attention. He gets along great with females and with calm submissive males. Tonka loves people and he could easily be an agility dog, smart and so agile.
