Quite the comedian, this happy-go-lucky and fun loving character likes attention and is not above acting silly to get it! Although his exercise needs are modest, he is an accomplished jumper which should be taken into consideration when he is outdoors. Yoda is intelligent and responsive to direction. He will be a loyal, affectionate family member with firm consistent leadership. He is currently working on his leash skills and good manners training with Monroe SPCA.
Yoda is an ideal indoor pet and companion for a home with moderately-active to active lifestyle. As with all of our adoptable dogs, we recommend a meet-n-greet with any housemate dogs prior to adoption. Direct interaction with cats is unknown and cannot be assessed at the shelter at this time.
Yoda currently resides at the Monroe County Animal Shelter. The shelter is located at 911 South Raisinville Road, Monroe, MI 48161. You can meet him during regular shelter hours; Tuesday through Friday, 11:00 am until 3:30 pm, and Saturday, 11:00 am until 2:30 pm. For more information please visit our facebook page at
