Ringo was found abandoned on a busy street. A Samaritan brought him to a vet office, but they asked for a rescue to take him in. He came into rescue with heartworms, but completed his heartworm treatment in May 2014.
Ringo is a big 48 lb puppy that just wants to have fun and lots of human attention. He is a happy dog with lots of energy and will require a fenced in yard or a ranch where he has room to just run. He loves to have his belly rubbed and be told he is a good boy.
Since Ringo’s life before rescue is questionable, the family that adopts him will have to have patience and take him to obedience training. He will need to continue with his leash training. Since he is still working on his doggy social skills, he will do better as an only dog and no cats.
He would benefit from an active family that will take him for runs and daily walks.
L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic.
All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with Paws Without Borders and other rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate.
