My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil (means valiant and brave) is a 7-9 year old cat that was abandoned on a very cold night. his front leg was disfigured and he had a very bad infection. Basil was taken to the vet and it was determined that his leg would have to be amputated. He is shy at first (no wonder after what he has been through), but once he gets to know you he will be your BFF. He is aware of the other cats at his foster home and gets along. he has acclimated well to being 3 legged. I think he does miss jumping up on things, but other than that Basil seems content. Basil tested negative for FIV/FeLV, his vaccinations are up to date and he uses a covered litter box very well. Need a companion? One that understands life isn't always fair? Basil is your man.
