Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Playful Piper! Piper is a beautiful 1 ½ yr. old purebred Weimaraner. She was purchased as a puppy but her family did not understand the breed and was not ready to give her the attention that she needed. When she came to us she had a large hygroma (fluid filled pocket) on her elbow and a UTI, both from spending too many hours in a WAY too small crate! She has been crate trained but it seems as though she may prefer NOT being in a crate, since her experience with a crate has not always been positive. Time will tell if she likes sleeping in a crate or not. She is recovering well and is ready for a FOREVER home!
She is a very sweet dog who loves to follow her people around the house or the yard. She is very much a Velcro weim! It seems as though she did not have much if any formal training, but she is SMART and she is already learning basic commands and learning how to walk on a leash. She does well in the car, too, although it seems like she hasn’t spent much time in a car, but she is getting used to it! She is also already house trained.
She is getting along very well with the other dogs she is being fostered with. She is a busy girl and is still very much a puppy! Just like you would not leave a toddler alone at home, Piper is going to need a home that can give her the attention she needs. She loves to play fetch, she will bring a tennis ball back over and over again. She also seems to like the water!
Like any Weim, Piper would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time. Weims are true people dogs and consider themselves family members, and most of them do not do well left home alone for a long time.
Piper is spayed and up to date on vaccines. All she needs is you! If you are interested in adopting Piper, please send an email to WeimLuvvr@aol.com .
