Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Houston’s my name and being your best friend is my aim. Even though I was a stray I still learned my basic house manners, sit, walk well on a leash, and behave in a crate. I have so much self confidence I’ll share it with those around me. Do you need a meeter and greeter in your business? I could be the one, since I've never met a stranger small, large, human, or furry. I've even been around children and we get along well. If you’re looking for a companion to melt whenever you pet them, I’m the one. Oh, let me not forget, that black Lab thing with having no off button is “not me”. Still young and energetic at 10 months, I’d love for you to teach me how to fetch. I truly am one of a kind with a gentle giant personality and yet I only weigh 55 lbs.
The New Leash on Life rescued dogs are vetted, vaccinated, altered, house, crate and leash trained. They also receive basic obedience, and sometimes advanced obedience along with agility and rally training. These well-behaved companions graduate every eight weeks ready to join new, forever families. If selected to adopt, you may attend your dog's graduation.
