Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Reggie is a gorgeous 4 year old Giant Schnauzer mix who weighs 75 lbs. He is a very calm, laid back gentle giant who would make a wonderful companion. Reggie is totally housebroken, does well in the house, walks well on a leash and is a great car rider. Although a fenced yard would be nice, it is not totally necessary for this sweet fellow since he is low energy and just wants to be inside with his family. Here are some comments from his foster mom:
Comments from foster mom: Reggie came into our lives shortly before Thanksgiving. He was an owner surrender and we are not sure why because this guy is an absolute perfect sweetheart! When I went to the shelter to rescue him, he was confused and heartbroken. I came into the room he was waiting in, he walked up to me, put his head in my lap and just let out a deep sigh, saying please take me! He had my heart instantly.
We can’t say enough about how wonderful Reggie is. He has been a perfect houseguest. He gets along with our 2 year golden retriever and has been excellent with our 2.5 and 6 year old children. He is a very polite, quiet guy who just wants to be with his family. He is potty trained, sits on command and sleeps quietly through the night by our bedside.
He LOVES to go for walks and car rides and will sit perfectly and wait patiently for his leash.
Reggie is on the more laid back side so a family that is low key and looking for a relaxed companion would be an ideal home. Although he gets along with children he is not an ideal playmate and would rather hang out watching them play than play fetch or chase.
