Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This beautiful girl’s name is Daisy, very appropriately named after a perfect, petite flower. Daisy was just 8 weeks old the day that someone heartlessly tossed her over a fence into the yard of an automotive repair shop. She was in terrible condition for her age, skinny, confused and had hopelessness in her little eyes. Although she had a rough first 2 months, she was placed into our loving care and we made a promise to her that we’d make sure to never let her struggle again.
Since that fateful day, Daisy has been a true joy. She’s a petite, solid white (with just one little spot near her tail) pup at just 30 pounds and 7 months old. We estimate that she might gain about 5 more pounds, so she will always be on the smaller side. We aren’t exactly sure what breed Daisy is, but we can tell you that her personality is adorable. We thought as she got a bit older that we could determine her breed, but it has just given us more time to play “Guess that Breed” with our friends and rescue followers.
Daisy’s never met a stranger. She loves all dogs, cats, kids and adults at first meeting. She would be a wonderful addition to a family that already has a dog that needs another furry friend or a buddy for your kids or even a jogging partner. We describe her as “just a super happy puppy”. She loves to play and adores all of her toys, even if they aren’t intended on being her toys, such as the pine cone that is currently sticking out of the side of her mouth. This week’s toy choice is yet another example of silly, fun-loving puppy. She will have a new favorite one next week! Daisy also has shown us that she likes to play in the water hose, so she might take to water activities pretty easily.
Daisy is perfectly healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed and microchipped. We are working on her leash training currently and she is about 90% on her potty training. She’s checked all of the life boxes for a 7 month old pup so far except for FIND A FAMILY and we know that one is soon to be checked off too. If you want to be the family to check that box for this precious little girl, please email us at adoptions@reggiesfriends.org.
Daisy is available for local adoption in HOUSTON, Texas and also outside of Houston. If adopted locally, Daisy’s adoption fee is $250. If adopted outside of Houston, Daisy’s adoption fee is $450, which will cover the cost of her airline flight, her travel kennel, her comfy travel bed and the required health documents to board the airline.
