My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Max is a very gentle 3 year old Golden Retriever/Black Lab mix. He loves to have his belly rubbed and will flop onto his back with only the slightest encouragement. He is a very happy boy that has been well behaved at home while left alone, however, without adequate exercise he does like to chew. A daily walk has been sufficient to keep him happy. He has great manners in the house and he walks without pulling on the leash. He thrives around kids and other dogs and overall has a very gentle nature. Max LOVES a car ride and will lie quietly riding along as you do errands. Max will tolerate being crated, although he’s hesitant to go in, he will lie quietly once inside. Currently, Max shares the house with 2 young Boxers which he loves to play with, but he has not been tested with cats. He may have some food allergies, which resulted in ear infections, but a wheat free diet seems to be helping. Max is a wonderful dog who is bound to become a devoted family member.

Max is being fostered in Bend, Oregon and his adoption fee is $250
