My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elly is a four year old spayed Newfoundland female. Elly's original owner passed away after loosing his battle with brain cancer. Elly was his constant companion through it all. Unfortunately, the owner's family was not able to keep her and tried to find her a home. Sadly, Elly bounced around from home to home and is now looking for the right person who will make the commitment to her and offer her the stability of a forever home. Elly is house trained, LOVES going for car rides and play outside. Her favorite thing in the world is spending time with her people though. She's great and gentle with children. She lived with cats and other dogs but any introduction to the animals in the house must be done in a slow manner. Elly is reactive to strange dogs hence requires an owner who can make her feel safe and she's not a dog park material.
