My story

"Pick me, pick me! I'm Summer-Sunshine and I'm ready to find my first forever family!"

Summer-Sunshine was starving to death on the end of her chain, forgotten and alone in a backyard. She was used a backyard breeder, vs a valued companion. Despite her rough past, she is the brightest dog we know, and just wants a family to call her own. She hasn't given up on humans, and is friendly and outgoing towards everyone she meets.

Summer-Sunshine is still rehabilitating from severe neglect. She has at least another 25lbs to gain, and is heartworm positive. A.S.K. will pay for her heartworm treatment once she has gained enough bodyweight. She'll come to you fully vetted and ready to play, or just hang by your side as your new best friend.

Summer needs a patient guardian willing to help her transition to inside life. She will need to be evaluated amongst other dogs/cats on a case-by-case basis because all dogs are animals are individuals.
