Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
About *Tempest
A stray cat named Bellatrix (Belle) gave birth to three beautiful kittens outdoors. Their estimated birthdate is August 4th, 2014. A kindly neighbour asked the rescue for help and Mycroft, Tempest and Valeria were brought into the program at approximately 6 weeks of age. Belle, a gorgeous black DSH, was captured the next day but will require more socialization as she has never been an indoor pet.
Tempest is a black and white DMH female. She got her name because of the white lightning bolt on her forehead and the wonderful swirl of markings on her legs, like a tempestuous sky. She has the fluffiest coat in the litter which makes her appear the biggest but under all that fur she’s actually the lightest and daintiest of the group.
Tempest is shyer than her brother Mycroft but doesn’t mind being picked up and placed in a friendly lap for some petting. She prefers humans that are sitting (it’s less scary) and will gladly use any legs available as a jungle gym. She particularly loves swatting stringed balls out of the air…so any local birds should be very happy she’s now indoors!
She is currently eating Wellness canned food and Blue Buffalo dry kitten food.
Tempest should be adopted with another kitten or find a home that already has a young cat for companionship. As she is a bit shy, a mature and quiet household would be best so she can continue to grow into loving and trusting cat. Tempest has been around children, ages 5 and 7, but has no experience with dogs.
