My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

KAHN:  5 yr old pittbull  appro 65 lbs  from Vallejo

Kahn is the kind of dog who when you first meet you might not be quite sure who he is!  But when he gives you his paw it doesn't take long to realize that he's not really intimidating, he's just a really nice guy!  He likes people and his tail wags alot when he see's you.  He Is also dog tolerant, but we  aren't sure about cats!

He is mellow, easy going, quiet, crate-trained, eager to do what you want him to, and will follow you anywhere if you give him some treats!!

While he was not an abuse case he was DEFINTIELY a NEGLECT case.  He was very isolated on the far-side of the house where they kept all the garbage.  His living area was muddy and filled with debris, it was actually more of a garbage dump then a dog run, and sometimes he didn't even have water.   His owner moved out and left him there and the other people were afraid so he was alone 24/7.   The only time he saw a human was a couple of mintues a day when he got fed ! 

Unfortunately he was so  lonely he started barking to get attention barking so much a neighbor called Animal Control and when they saw the conditions he was living in,  he was removed from the home whch wasn't all that much better because then he was at the shelter But with the help of some good samaritans he was rescued.

He has been in a rescue for over 2 years and he really needs a foster home as there is no more $.  It would be heart-breaking to give up on him now after ALL he's been thru so we are hoping and praying for a guardian angel to come to his rescue once again!
