My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is BEN. Ben is a handsome 14 year old, male Bichon. Ben's owner passed away a few months ago and Ben's owner's wife works full time and is not home enough to give Ben the attention he deserves. He was used to being with his daddy all day long and now he is all alone and she is out all day and sometimes night.

Ben was always house trained till about a month or 2 ago, after his daddy died. He has since had a few accidents in the house (probably due to not being taken out frequently enough) and possibly due to sadness and loneliness over the loss of his daddy. (nothing time, love, consistency and possible a belly band won't cure).

Ben is very healthy and has a good amount of energy for his age. He still loves to play and go for walks and has years of love left to give.

Won't you please open your home and heart to this sweet boy.

We are also open to having someone permanently foster Ben. That would mean Ben would be yours forever to live with you and love you. You would be responsible for his grooming, food and other day to day expenses, however our rescue would pay for his veterinary needs for the rest of his life.
To be a permanent foster you MUST Live in Northern NJ and be willing to take Ben to his check ups, wellness or sickness issues or any other vet needs that may arise in the future ONLY to our rescue Vet in West Caldwell NJ.
