found abandoned in the HEB parking lot
My name is Skittles and my foster mom found me abandoned in a HEB parking lot one day. She asked around and people had been feeding me for a couple of years! Once she caught me, she found out I ws microchipped, but when she located my owners, they had moved...and had left me behind. So, being a cat, I found my way to HEB and relied on kind humans to feed me. It took a while for me to trust my foster mom, and I'm still jump if you try to pet me too quickly. Apparently, I wasn't treated all that great.
Anyways, I think I'm ready to trust another human now. I do get along with cats, but little children would probably make me nervous. And my foster mom doesn't know about dogs since we don't have any here. It'd be great if I could have my own family again, but I might take some tender, loving care at first. Through my foster family, I've found out humans can be good....and a forever home would be awesome!
