My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Milo is a very loving and playful puppy. He loves to sleep in bed with his foster mom and her dog. He gets under the covers. He wants to be with you in the same room at all times. Milo is extremely active and playful. He needs regular exercise. He needs a home where he will get daily walks, playtime and love. He is extremely smart and has taught himself to go potty outside in his foster home very quickly. He goes to the door to request to be let outside.
Milo is a healthy boy, neutered and has had all his vaccinations.
He is not an alpha dog and submits to other dogs and people. Initially Milo is very timid and scared when introduced into a new environment or to new people. However, he does warm up quickly. He is crate trained, ride well in a car, and doing very well with his house training. Milo would do best in a home with children 7 and older. He does well with other small dogs. He does not do well in a group of dogs. Because of this we would like a home with one other dog that he can play with but don’t recommend anymore than that. He is extremely smart and if his person takes time to teach him he will learn very quickly. He is a Dachshund at heart with the agility of a Chihuahua. What a combination!
