My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bear is a 2 year old neutered male Labrador Retriever mix. He is absolutely gorgeous and he is a big boy (over 90lbs!). He gets along with other dogs and kids. He has never been around cats though. He can be a little shy at first, but once he comes around he is just a sweet heart. He loves to play in the water according to his previous owner and is totally housetrained! Come by and visit with Bear to see if he would be perfect for you!

$150 Adoption Fee for all Dogs and Puppies. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, a heartworm/lymes test (for adults), microchip, and all age appropriate vaccinations. (Puppies are too young for the test but will be started on preventative.)

SHELTER HOURS: 1:00pm – 6:00pm Tuesday - Thursday; 12:00pm – 4:00pm Friday and Saturday; 1pm-4pm Sunday; Closed Monday. We welcome adoptions from people living out of the area or outside the state of Virginia. The application process is completed in person at the shelter.
