Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Aubrey is a 9 month old yellow Labrador Retriever who was surrendered to us as her family did not have enough time for her. She spent most of her days crated and was not properly socialized as a puppy. Because of this, she does take a few minutes to warm up to new people. Her foster family is working hard to help socialize her to all sorts of people.
Aubrey knows how to sit, down and shake and is working on walking nicely on a leash. She seems to do well with most other dogs and cats as well.
Adoption Process:
Once your application is received, it will be reviewed by our adoption team. We will then contact your personal and veterinary references. Once those steps are completed and approved, we will setup an initial meeting and home visit, which may sometimes happen at the same time. The adoption team will get back to you once all steps are completed to setup the final adoption, including payment of adoption fee and execution of the adoption contract.
Our adoption contract does include a 14 day trial period where the pet can be returned to the rescue and half of the adoption fee is refunded. We want to make sure that it is a great fit for your family and also for the pet!
Please download and fill out the application, located towards the bottom of the page here: www.llrescue.org/adoption
Adoption Fees:
Young Dogs (6 Months to a year of age): $250 includes Spay/Neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, up-to-date heartworm preventative, microchip with lifetime enrollment.
