My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful Greta was rescued moments before being handed off to Animal Control. She was found tied up to a fence just after giving birth, clearly starved and was full of scars. It seems to us that she was a previous bait dog and used up mama. But even with her disturbing past she holds no grudges and loves people and even young children. She is 3 years old, only 40 lbs, spayed, up to date on shots, and micro chipped. Greta was adopted 2 years ago but unfortunately her current owner has fallen deathly ill and can no longer care for her. She will be forced into a boarding kennel unless another foster or forever home is found. Greta is dog selective, so she would do best with no dogs or cats. She walks very well on leash, is house broken, crate trained and a love bug. Her rescuer will also provide free boarding for life for anyone who adopts her and also free food for life. Please help me get this dog into a home before she is stuck in a cage all day, she deserves so much more from life. She is currently in Queens, NY but will be boarded in Suffolk County, NY after December 31st. Contact is Ashley 646.209.3851
