My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Taffy and I am a beautiful 1 yr. old purebred GSD. I came to RGSR in December as an owner surrender because sadly my old family moved back to China. I am a sweetie who gets along well with other dogs and am currently being fostered in a home with children whom I adore. I haven't had much training, but we are working on that. I do know sit, lay down, shake, and my foster family says my leash manners are improving, too! About 5 months ago I was diagnosed with Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI), which means I have problems absorbing the nutrients in my food. The solution was simple, I get some special enzymes sprinkled over my food. This is not terribly costly, but I will require them for life, along with a high quality grain-free food. I am a very confident, super fun, playful, goofy dog that would make a GREAT addition to any active family, with the patience to nurture a GSD puppy. Oh yeah and I will come spayed, up to date on all vaccines, and micro-chipped.
