My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rascal - DOB 2013 - Male
Rascal is an American Bulldog Mix. He loves people and is good with older children. He has been trained by professional dog trainer, Glenn Sherrill of Train, Play, Live. He is very loving, and in the home of an experienced dog owner would be a wonderful addition to the family. He has been excellent with his foster family, and they are happy to answer any questions you may have about Rascal.
To learn more about Rascal or our organization, please visit our web site at www.humanesocietyofrowancountync.org or our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/HumaneRowanNC
An adoption application is available on our web site.
Our adoption fee is $50, which includes spay/neuter, and all age appropriate vaccinations at time of adoption.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

An adoption application must be completed. There is an adoption fee of $50.00. We do a home visit before approving the adoption. We prefer that the yard be fenced in if adopting a dog, but will review each case on an individual basis. We prefer that our cats be kept indoors.

Go meet their pets

We do adoption events at Petsmart in Salisbury at least twice a month and bring cats and/or dogs. Some of our animals are boarded at the Animal Care Clinic in Salisbury, NC because we desparately need foster homes.

More about this rescue

We are a small non-profit rescue group. We rescue abandoned and stray sick and injured dogs and cats. Occasionally we will get a rabbit or some other kind of small animal although that is very rare. We also help low income people get medical care for a sick or injured pet and also provide help with food for pets. We always need food and litter donations as well as funds to help people with medical needs. We run a Spay/Neuter Clinic once a month with the Animal Care Clinic of Salisbury and ongoing with the China Grove Animal Hospital.
