Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rhett is being fostered in Ontario. Please fill in the online application found at www.collierescuenetwork.com before submitting an inquiry about Rhett.
Rhett is a beautiful boy, inside and out! He is 6 years old and would love to find a family that likes to go for long walks and play in a fenced yard too! Rhett would love to have another doggie friend in his new home and does wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and ages. His best bud in his foster home is a little dachshund and the two of them will lay beside each other and play together. He's also happy to play with the bigger foster dogs any time they want to play too.
Rhett's foster mom says Rhett is just a beautiful boy who is very gentle and sweet. He loves his foster dad and follows him around like his little shadow. All in all Rhett seems to really attach to the men in his life and he'd be in heaven if he had two dads but a single man or any man who wants a buddy to hang out with will make Rhett a happy boy.
Rhett is great on-leash and loves his daily walks. Someone looking for a walking partner will love how laid-back and easy walks are with Rhett. In his foster home he doesn't seem fazed by much while out and about! He is also excellent in the car and loves to go for car rides and would love to travel and accompany you places.
Rhett is a Collie so be prepared for normal Collie alert barking. He will let you know when someone is at the door or in the driveway. He would not do well in an apartment or condo-type setting where he can hear the neighbours.
Adoption applications can be found at the Collie Rescue Network website.
An adoption fee of $350 applies for all adopted dogs.
