My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Southy is a 4.5 year old happy little lady! This happy girl always has a smile on her face.

Sadly, she was abandoned on a hot August day in a park called South Park but those days are far behind her and she wears a smile all day long!

Southy loves to play with girl dogs, boy dogs, puppies and toys!! She loves being with her person and would make a wonderful addition to any active family.

At 40 lbs, she is not too big, not too small...just right for giving big hugs, which is one of her favorite things to do. She is house trained, crate and leash trained and knows to sit when asked.

She is a herding breed so that is how she enjoys playing with other dogs. A home with an active dog that also likes to run would be a great match for her, but she would also be happy as the only dog.

This lovable girl has successfully completed heart worm treatment and is now as good as new! She is up to date on all vaccinations - ready and waiting to go to her forever home.
