My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy is a princess in her home. She lives with a bunch of boys (Winston, Teddy, Tango, and others) and can hold her own. Tango is her best buddy. Sassy and Tango like to run and chase each other and play with toys. Sassy is about 10 lbs and between 12-18 months old. When she is done playing, she likes to give kisses and she will let you hold her like a little baby. Sassy will also sit on top of the chair behind you and give you more kisses. Sassy is in a foster home with several other small dogs and cats. She does not live with bigger dogs, but we do not expect that to be a problem. She is looking for people who will love her, give her plenty of exercise, and give her a home for her expected lifetime of 15+ years. If you think you have the right home for her, please apply at:

ARF'N primarily adopts only to residents in the counties surrounding Hernando County in central Florida or within a 60-90 min. drive from the Brooksville/Spring Hill areas. The reason for this is that we personally conduct home visits for each of our rescued pets to ensure they are getting a safe home. We hope you understand.
