Here's what the humans have to say about me:
***"This dog is in a foster home in Pennsylvania." ***
Lylli is a sweet 5 year old girl that lost her mom when she could no longer keep her. Lylli's legs are shorter than most Bostons, and she is working on getting her girlish figure back (she's a bit overweight at 21 lb.J) and has already made progress!
She is learning to be the best walker, and is great with all dogs and cats and at the food bowl. She loves treats (especially now that she can only have them once in a while). She has beautiful markings and a luxurious coat and shiny white teeth! She knows her name and comes when called and knows some other commands too, like "sit". She is very shy in a sweet, gentle way, especially around men, so a strong female presence would be preferable as she seems more trusting of women. She is really opening up and gives teeny tiny butterfly kisses.
She sleeps in her crate all night long. She's good with house-training but needs to be reminded to go and to remain outside until she does. She gets so excited being outside that she sometimes forgets to do her business, or doesn't get it all out J. Sleeping in the crate means she won’t get up and have an unanticipated business during the night. Lylli is now sleeping in the big bed some too--so the best of both worlds.
Lylli was having some mild seizures, so she was thoroughly checked out by our vet. All her blood work was fine and she is now on a pill twice a day that costs about $15 a month. This medicine has totally stopped her seizures!
She has been spayed, microchipped, is heartworm negative and all vaccines are up-to-date.
Lylli would be the perfect addition for a loving family with a strong female presence that will be respectful of her gentle nature. We have no doubt she will continue to blossom into a wonderful dog! Lyllie is in a foster home in PA. Her foster mom is Linda at 717-368-8392. Please give her a call to find out more about Lylli.
To adopt Lylli, visit bostonrescueofsc.org and fill out the adoption application. Her adoption fee is $300.
