My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sanders is a sweet middle-aged Chihuahua (probably around 7 years old) and is about 12 pounds. He is a big dog in small dog body. He LOVES to be outdoors, walking, hiking, playing fetch with his squeaky toy, exploring with other dogs, etc. This little guy can definitely keep up with the big boys.

When indoors, like a typical Chihuahua, his favourite thing to do is curl up in your lap. He is the perfect companion dog for whenever you go!

Sanders also gets along with other dogs and cats. He is very food motivated so training is easy and his housetraining is ironclad. Just show him where the door is and he will whine and run to it to let you know he needs to go out.

Please note: We will not be placing Sanders in a home with small children (under 5 years of age) as he does have some boundaries that humans need to respect. He does not like to be manhandled, and will growl and bare his teeth.
